Future growth

Mydisplays GmbH in Burscheid, Germany, covers the entire range of indoor and outdoor advertising with its products. This quite young company has concentrated exclusively on digital printing since its foundation. Mydisplays has been producing large format prints with the Canon Arizona flatbed printing systems on all common print media since the beginning. Due to strong annual growth, Mydisplays, with the support of Canon, has outsourced this production area to a dedicated site and installed a second Arizona 6100 series printer to cover future growth.

Flatbed systems with many benefits

With the Arizona 6100 series, Mydisplays achieves a clear increase in performance in production with all common media. "At the same time, thanks to the high production capacity, we have a reserve for the coming years and can increase our capacity in this area at any time," says Peter Schaffarzyk, for whom the favourable price/performance ratio of the Arizona 6100 series was also a decisive factor, and continues "Both flatbed printing systems are absolutely reliable. Particularly noteworthy is the technical support provided by Canon‘s service department. In our experience, the level is excellent compared to other manufacturers. This is fundamental for us as a manufacturing company every day". The constant production with the two flatbed printing systems from Canon already enables us to meet customer deadlines, even with high order volumes. There are also no problems regarding colour matching between the different systems. Together with Canon, Mydisplays realises the desired continuous workflow in the area of digital flatbed printing, from ordering in the web shop to delivery.
